The third “Be involved” seminar designed according to an interactive “Get inspired – help – share – analyze” concept took place on 22 March 2018 at Romantic Hotel in Panevezys. 66 participants from 6 Latvian and Lithuanian regions were really impressed with a variety of speakers belonging to different industries.

The first speaker was Arnoldas Šulnius, the owner of “Glass Baltic”, which sells new and used glass machinery, as well as tools and accessories. Arnoldas started his career at 15 and firstly performed unskilled tasks, but in a few years was promoted to a top-level position in the same company. Gained experience and understanding of corporate procedures allowed him to establish his own business and successfully develop it.

Then, the participants could listen to other stories presented by experienced entrepreneurs, as well as those who have just recently started business or only planning to do so. Owners of an ecological farm, the biggest hotel, restaurant and spa in Panevezys region, clothing store, beauty salon and a café took floor in turns.

Particularly surprising was a presentation of Urtė Gikniūtė, a 12-year-old girl who sews and handpaints amazingly beautiful bags. Regardless of the fact that she is still a pupil and created her business out of a hobby, she manages to produce and sell 20 bags per month. “Do what you love the most!” was her advice to the seminar participants.
